Voice and Piano Lessons
Why are we called to sing? We sing to commune with the depths and heights—the full range of life, but also the Life beyond our limited concept of self. We channel something both ’of us’ and ‘beyond us.’ If we’re lucky, it is here we discover ecstasy and aliveness. Singing is alchemy. And all is welcome in the realm of song.
In addition to my more specialized offering of The Wild Voice, I also teach piano and voice lessons to all ages. I will meet you where you are (or where your child is), and we can go from there! For piano, I teach complete beginners to intermediate level students. If you are seeking music theory tutoring, I offer this as well.
When it comes to the voice, I have a real passion for supporting students who long to truly sing from their heart and express their authentic self through song! While of course, we will focus on all aspects of healthy vocal technique such as breath support, resonance, dynamics, and more, the main reason people tend to come to me is because I will walk beside you with compassion, care, patience and the utmost faith in your ability to discover your truest self through singing. Self-expression, in any form, is a highly vulnerable act, and I applaud you already for having the courage to connect to your own voice. It’s incredible what we can feel and discover about ourselves and life when we say yes to our sacred longings. Even when it’s scary. So if you’re ready to take the leap, I’m here for you!

*Pricing is for lessons taught in my home. A $10 travel fee per lesson is added when I travel to your residence.

For group workshops, please submit a booking inquiry below, specifying what you are looking for. I offer workshops on vocal improvisation, group mind and group presence, connecting to the sacred and each other through sounding together, as well as more traditional group singing lessons.
